fog and sea.
This collection was during an early morning fog along the coast of Rhode Island. I found myself lost in the thick cover and only directed by the waves sloshing against the shoreline. Then I saw another person experiencing the same moment I was, seemingly at peace in the arms of the clouds. Then again a fisherman knee-deep in the ocean casting his line into the fog. At this moment we were a fog community, a group who were all finding solace in the hazy landscape
chinatown.
This street photography series, captured just before the Covid-19 lockdown (3/2020), is a poignant reflection of our digital age. The subjects, absorbed in their digital devices, were unaware of my presence. Little did we know, this series would serve as a harbinger of the future, where digital devices would become our primary means of communication.
